A TRIBUTE TO BELLA'
March 17, 2001 - June 24, 2006
Bella' (right side of picture) & Cayne November 2005. I can't believe how much I miss her !! We went everywhere together for five years. I was lucky enough to have a job that let me bring her to work. She was part of the team and she knew... She would wake me up ready to go to the office and get her treats and bark at all the delivery guys in the warehouse. I really miss her talking back to me. She would always get the last word in. Lots of attitude...she was a strong alpha girl. Cayne followed her everywhere and he saw her get hit by the car right in front of the house and he has not left my side. I know I'm blessed to have had five years with her, but that does not make it any easier. I don't think I'll ever have that strong a connection again with one of my dogs.
Baby Bella'
My baby girl .. her first day home. She was born on Saint Patrick's Day and I brought her home on Mother's Day. I almost named her Billie Holiday.
Sweet Bella'
This was Bella's first birthday.. it's hard to see in the picture but we went to the park in the rain. We had the whole place to ourselves. She was in heat, so I had to go to the park when no one else was there.
Bella' in the backyard with her last puppy (Lulu) before she found a home.

Rainbow Bridge
(Author Unknown)
Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food and water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they miss someone very special to them who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. The bright eyes are intent, the eager body quivers. Suddenly she begins to break away from the group, flying over the green grass, her legs carrying her faster and faster.
YOU have been spotted and when you and your special friend finally meet you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face, your hands again caress her beloved head and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you pass over Rainbow Bridge together....
Thank you Terrye for sharing Bella' with all of us. My condolences on the loss of your beautiful gal. You were blessed to have her, as much as she was blessed to have you!
